Joyful June

June was all about enjoying the summer, outdoors, and fitness! I reconnected with one of my best friends, Sandi, over dinner at Tepenyaki at the start of the month. We caught up, shared some funny stories, and ate some great food. Afterwards, we ended up going to a party with some old friends, and just had fun. After that night, we decided we wanted to move into together but it in the meantime we'd get together once a week during the summer and do some sort of fun activity. Sandi has always "gotten me" so well and I've always felt so comfortable around her. I just love her to pieces and am so glad we are back in each others lives!

I went to a Tim McGraw concert in June with Sandi, along with her friend from school, Ashley. We got some lawn seats and drove up to get our "country" on. Of course I found it fun to reconnect with my Kansas roots and threw on a pair of boots and skirt and listened to the great sounds of Tim McGraw. I have to admit, he has the voice of a God and the body of one too! What talent and soul comes from that mans voice! We snapped some of these pictures that night:

Also in June, my friend Leah, came into town from LA. I was lucky to snag some of her limited time and we got pedicures together. We chatted, caught up, shared some funny stories, and ended the night with getting some tasty chocolates from See's. So good!! Leah is just so amazing! I can't wait until she comes back in town the next time :)

Another highlight of Utah summers is boating! I usually end up just going to Utah lake to boat with friends, but went to East Creek Reservoir for the first time. All I can say, is it is worth the extra drive. The water was beautiful and so was the scenery! I  made friends with Janae-what a down to earth girl. She was a blast to hang out with and it reminded me how much I enjoy meeting new people and making new friends.

Of course, during the summer I attended summer school and did my best to balance school, work, gym, and social life. Overall I think my dedication was highest to work, gym, social life, and school in that order but it all worked out in the end. I'm still loving the work I do and enjoyed a golf tournament the Utah County Realtors participated in, at a local country club. Our office staff helped in the morning and spent the afternoon driving people around in carts, having a nice lunch, eating treats, getting a quick massage, and having a nice lunch. It was a rather relaxing and fun day out of the office! I ran into my friend, Annai, from culinary school, who happened to stop by to drop something off for her boss during the tournament. It was so good to see her and it made me think the whole bunch of us should get together soon. Hint..hint! :) Here are some pictures of that I snagged on the course, which is so beautiful by the way:

June was a great month, like most other months, I felt I had so much to be grateful for. I am blessed with a wonderful family, healthy body, great job and co-workers, a beautiful state to live in, and so much more! Hope you all had a wonderful June as well :)
